The SIACI SAINT HONORE Group, a leading provider of consulting and brokerage services in property and personal insurance for companies, is supporting DERICHEBOURG and KORIAN in the roll-out of the government “Transitions Collectives” program among their employees. The aim is to enable employees to retrain in sectors that are recruiting in the same labor market.
This innovative program launched by the French Government facilitates the transition for employees who wish to change profession and join business sectors in need of new employees, by means of a training period. In this case, the goal is to achieve successful professional mobility for service operatives employed by DERICHEBOURG who are to retrain as carers with KORIAN. Around thirty employees have expressed their interest and attended the information meeting with the government ministers concerned.

Pierre DONNERSBERG, Chairman of SIACI SAINT HONORE, welcomed the presence of Elisabeth BORNE, Minister of Labor, Employment and Economic Inclusion, and Brigitte BOURGUIGNON, Minister Delegate for Personal Independence, attached to the Minister for Solidarity and Health, at the meeting which took place at DERICHEBOURG.

“I am very proud that SIACI SAINT HONORE’s teams were the first to give this innovative program an operational format. By creating the opportunity for direct professional transitions between two companies, with the added benefit of a commitment to provide open-ended employment contracts for full-time positions, we have found an appropriate solution both for the employees concerned and for the two employers. We view this project as a pilot that we intend to reproduce on a major scale and extend to other business sectors”, claimed Pierre DONNERSBERG.

In practical terms, the employees who have volunteered will be offered a career guidance plan in the coming days through which they will obtain information about being a carer and will be able to test their aptitudes and motivations to retrain. Following this first sequence, they will begin a 14-month qualifying training path, alternating between training in a care school and in a work situation. The State-recognized caregiver diploma will be then obtained in the form of Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) at KORIAN, which undertakes to hire these employees with an open-ended employment contract for full-time positions as soon as the training period is completed.
