As the Hôtel de la Marine opens on June 12th, 2021 following major renovation and refurbishment work launched in 2017, SIACI SAINT HONORE confirms its support for French excellence through its cultural patronage of a historical Paris monument.
The completion of the renovation marks the rebirth of an iconic monument of the 18th century, located on the Place de la Concorde, and designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel, the King’s chief architect.
The Cabinet des glaces, a real jewel in the apartments of Marc-Antoine Thierry de Ville-d’Avray and the Cabinet doré, the former kitchen and storeroom used by the French Navy, were restored with the support of SIACI SAINT HONORE as patron of the CMN.
The Hôtel de la Marine will now be a leading cultural site, open to a broad range of visitors, contributing to Paris’ tourist appeal and France’s international prestige.
For Pierre Donnersberg, Chairman of SIACI SAINT HONORE’s Executive Board
: “Supporting the revival of this emblematic monument is indicative of what we strive to embody: a history and strong values, openness to the world and confidence in our culture
