SIACI SAINT HONORE has added to its consulting services focusing on all retirement-related challenges by launching the Ecole de la retraite© (Retirement School).

This training initiative* aimed at employees is hinged upon the following three points:
- the projection of financial resources at the time of retirement,
- health,
- raising employee awareness of personal and professional dynamics at pivotal ages. 

Proactively supporting the extension of working lives

Extending the contribution period, pushing back the statutory retirement age, successive reforms, complex calculation bases, etc. Employees do not always see the prospect of retirement in a positive light. “The Ecole de la retraite© (Retirement School) enables each company to proactively prepare its employees for ageing and the foreseeable extension of working lives and to provide full support”, says Thierry Vachier, Executive Director for Employee Benefits, HR Strategy and Total Rewards at SIACI SAINT HONORE.

Training sessions offered by the Ecole de la retraite© are part of a comprehensive range of services and consulting assistance provided to companies seeking an overall view and single management of their compensation and employee benefits policy. They are also part of the Group’s drive to strengthen and update employees’ knowledge of all employee benefit issues, more specifically with regards to retirement and the consequences of extended career lengths.

Focusing on the three themes of financial resources, health and personal dynamics, these intra- and inter-company training modules have been designed according to the same model: an interactive approach in which each participant’s experience fosters dialogue and in which each trainee plays an active part prior to, during and following the session.
 
“Employees are the sole decision-makers of their retirement. They therefore need all the necessary information to construct their professional project and develop an action plan for the future”, explains Philippe Caré, Director of HR Strategy and Total Rewards at SIACI SAINT HONORE.
He continued by claiming that “Anticipating one’s retirement requires a cross-cutting approach that is sometimes difficult for employees to grasp. Through this school, we provide exhaustive and concrete answers to all practical questions on retirement related to labor legislation, social security and taxation matters”.
